Changelog
Last updated: November 1, 2026
The site has not launched yet. Everything below is pre-release work. Entries are written from the project’s commit history; the newest come first.
Unreleased (pre-launch, November 2026)
Website
- Text pages: about, help, how we test, security, changelog, privacy policy, terms and refund policy.
- Bank pages with layout notes, download steps, limitations, FAQ and the date each layout was last tested.
- The converter works offline after the first visit. Your browser keeps a copy of the site’s own pages and scripts, never your files.
- Free limit of 5 statements a month, counted without storing your IP address. If our server cannot be reached, conversion still works with a counter in your browser.
- “This row is wrong” button and an opt-in “Send page layout” report with a preview of exactly what is sent.
- Inline editing of rows with live balance checking, undo and redo.
- Mobile result list with bottom sheets; desktop result view with a reconciliation panel.
- Export menu with CSV settings (separator, decimal mark).
- Clear states for errors, password-protected PDFs, scanned PDFs, offline use and a sample statement.
- Search-friendly page titles and a strict security policy on every page that blocks scripts from other sites.
Converter
- Bank layouts (13): Bank of America, Bank of Georgia, Barclays, Chase, Credo Bank, HSBC UK, Lloyds Bank, Monzo, NatWest, Revolut, TBC Bank, Wells Fargo and Wise. Bank of Georgia, Credo Bank and TBC Bank are also checked on real statements; the others on synthetic test statements.
- Banks without their own page (unlisted banks) are converted too; the result is used automatically when it passes the balance check.
- Exact balance check (reconciliation) that points at the row where the running balance breaks.
- Exports: Excel (XLSX), CSV and JSON, protected against formulas hidden in descriptions, QBO (QuickBooks Web Connect), OFX 2, and Xero and QuickBooks Online CSV.
- Merging several statements of one account, with checks that the periods join up.
- An automatic error summary that holds no statement data, and an opt-in page layout report with letters and digits masked.
Fixes worth knowing about
- Rotated pages are read in the right orientation.
- Wrapped detail lines in Bank of Georgia statements no longer become separate transactions.
- Zero-decimal currencies (such as JPY) treat separators as thousands.
- A statement is never marked verified when dated rows were skipped for an unlisted bank.
- Split multi-word column headers and fragmented text pieces are merged before the rows are read.
- Date formats are only accepted when unambiguous; the year is inferred from the statement period.
